|WELCOME TO GREYHOUND PET ADOPTION SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI!|
Greyhound Pet Adoption Springfield MO is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides information, education, promotion of adoption and adoption of retired racing Greyhounds. We also promote cooperation with other adoption programs nationwide to further the placement of Greyhounds as pets into responsible loving homes. We believe not only doing the best we can adopting Greyhounds in the Ozarks but also assisting groups in areas that are so overwhelmed with huge numbers of Greyhounds to help that they must be transported to other adoption programs throughout the US.
Alane Shultz is the founder of GPAMO and has had retired racing greyhounds as pets for 34 years. She has facilitated greyhound adoptions since 1992.
Greyhounds are clean, quiet and have no hereditary health problems. Their exercise requirements are surprisingly low - they prefer to curl up and have you pet them! Loving and loyal, your greyhound is your fast friend for life!
FUNDRAISING SEASON IS HERE!
We have two fantastic fundraisers going on now that will give you some fun rewards while you help the hounds! Take a look at these two greyt offers!

Our 2017 Support Drive is underway and we have an Awesome 25th Anniversary Greyhound Design created by Nicole Peters for our Shirts this year! The printed Silver Greyhound Coin signifies our 25th year of doing Greyhound adoptions in the Ozarks!

Our Annual GPA Springfield MO Support Drive runs through April 9.
Buddy, who raced as "Quirky Bedlam", is 6 years old and a very friendly boy. He would do well with cats, other dogs, and kids; but Buddy really needs another dog as a friend in his new home. He's well behaved in the house and is an all around sweet guy.
2017 HBA HOME SHOW A GREYT SUCCESS!
We collected $756 at the home show, including donations for the raffle of the Concrete Greyhound Garden Statue and the Dog Treat Basket.
Winner of the Greyhound Statue is Kathy from Nixa, and Shauna from Mt. Vernon won the treat basket.
THANK YOU to all the volunteers and Greyhounds that attended the home show! We appreciate your help in promoting adoption at this event, the Greyt exposure it brings us and for helping our waiting Greyhounds to find their forever homes. And special thanks to the Springfield Home Builders Association for allowing us to attend this huge event and helping us find Homes for Hounds!
