Carly is a Cat-Safe 6-year-old black female. She has been in a home for 3 years as the only dog. Her adopters had to surrender her as they had to move into an assisted living facility and dogs are not allowed. That family has had four Greyhounds over the last 20 years and they told me she was definitely the most friendly and the most affectionate. She is in great shape and has very good teeth! She would be good as an only dog or with a submissive male dog. Carly likes toys and nylabone chews. Carly is a good walker and needs her adopter to take her on some good walks, ½ mile to 1 mile as weather permits. She has good potty habits and good behavior in the house. She rides well in my van. She does need a fenced yard. I am fostering her and she has been here one month. She gets along with my female and male Greyhounds. A home with no children would be a better fit for her or if there are children they need to be adults. She needs a home that will be her last home!

Adopters need to live in NW AR or within 45 minutes of Springfield. We will require a home visit as well unless you’re a very recent adopter from us.
